Privacy Policy

Sifang Mahjong is made by Kindly Robotics, Inc. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. Playing against the computer works offline and does not require an account.
What we collect
- Account. If you play online, we create an account. As a guest it has only a random ID. If you sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook, we receive your account ID with that provider and, if the provider shares them, your email address and name.
- Profile. The display name you choose, a friend code, your rating and the number of ranked games you have played. Other players can see your display name and rating.
- Games. For online games: the room or table you joined, the moves you made, and results (score, place, rating change).
- Usage analytics. Events such as app opened, game started, hand and match results, room created or joined, and sign-in method, with your account ID once you are signed in, plus device and app version information. We use PostHog for this.
- Crash reports. When the app crashes or an online request fails, an error report with device and app version information and your account ID. We use Sentry for this.
- On your device only. Your preferred difficulty and game length.
We do not collect your contacts, location, photos or payment information. There is no real-money play and no advertising.
How we use it
To run online games and rankings, show your name to the players at your table, keep the game fair, fix bugs, and understand which parts of the game people use. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Who processes it
Our service providers: Supabase (accounts and game data), Vercel (game server), PostHog (analytics) and Sentry (crash reports), and Apple, Google or Meta when you choose to sign in with them. Data is stored in the United States.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your account until you delete it. You can delete it in the app (Play online → Delete account) or by emailing support@kindly.fyi. Deleting removes your account, profile, friends, ratings and results. Records of past games keep a random seat ID that no longer links to you. Analytics events and crash reports are tied to your account ID only and are kept under PostHog's and Sentry's retention settings.
Children
Sifang Mahjong is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
